Why We Started Woolara
Finding good cashmere should not mean choosing between an expensive logo and an uncertain product.
At one end of the market, traditional luxury markups place quality cashmere out of reach. At the other, blends and lower-grade fibres are often sold with very little information about what they contain or where they come from.
We believed there should be another choice:
Pure cashmere. Clear origins. Thoughtful design. A fairer price.
That belief became Woolara.
From the Grasslands of Inner Mongolia
Our cashmere journey begins in Inner Mongolia, a region known for producing some of the world’s finest cashmere fibres.
The landscape is beautiful, but demanding. Long, cold winters encourage the goats to grow an exceptionally soft and insulating undercoat—the natural fibre that gives cashmere its warmth without heaviness.
We work with trusted partners close to the source and remove unnecessary layers wherever possible. This allows us to focus on what genuinely matters: the quality of the fibre, careful construction and a piece that feels good every time you reach for it.
